About NMI
Nuestro Mundo, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was established in response to the commitment of its founders to provide educational, cultural and social opportunities for Madison's ever-expanding Latino community.
Existing programs include Nuestro Mundo Community School (NMCS), a Spanish-English dual language immersion elementary school within the Madison Metropolitan School District and its associated Site Leadership Council. NMI also offers Spanish immersion Summer Programs, including Family Workshops/Language Camps and social events (Sábados Gigantes) for school-age children and their families.
Future goals of the organization include the development of an innovative dual language immersion, project-based learning secondary school and a neighborhood learning center.
